I don’t know about you, but I have a bit of an obsession with mixing girly with biker chick. Here’s a lil’ story for you of what happened to me yesterday…
Now, I’m sure that some point in your time here on earth, you’ve been as bankrupt as I am today. Sure, I’m a 12 year old girl who has no job, has an (extremely) bad habit if talking way too much, but that’s just me.
For all I know, you could be a 6 year-old girl sitting in a solid gold limo reading this- but I highly doubt it. Now, moving out of my incoherent rambling, there is a point to the this story. I don’t know if you know, but I love cute, fun clothing combinations. I love floral, knee-high dresses; almost as much as sherbet (but not quite).
Yesterday, I’d walked into town at around 10 o’ clock in the morning, to get to a dentists appointment. This is something you may, or may not, know; I severely dislike pigeons. I mean, seriously- who could like them? So, when I spotted a large group near Primark, of course I had to do something about it. So I did what any normal 12 year old would do; I ran full speed towards them, screeching out a battle cry as I ran, flapping my arms about wildly.
The plan sort of backfired; turns out, pigeons don’t like me either- I got chased by a flock of angry, bloodthirsty pigeons, until a ran into my dentist’s office. As I arrived, I had gotten a couple of funny looks, so I went to the washroom to check it out. Looking in the mirror, I was more perplexed why some people hadn’t
given me funny looks- I was a mess!
My brown hair, previously styled in neat, sleek waves, was frazzled out so I looked more like a demented tiger than anything. My cheeks were tomato red, the colour matching perfectly with my dishevelled hair, and one of my large hoop earrings had fallen out.
Mentally cursing my (extremely stupid) stupidity, I proceeded to fix the mess that was me. After sorting myself out, I attended my appointment, where I had a filling. After that, I decided to treat myself- so I went shopping.
Walking around the town, I spotted a local boutique- it held the most beautiful dress in the world! It was a knee-length floral print dress, consisting of pastel colours; peach, light pink, light blue, lilac… It was perfect- and only £23.50! Checking my purse I had… £20!
Dropping to the floor, I cried out at the top of my lungs. “Noooo!” I probably- no, definitely- looked odd.
Now, so you know what I’m talking about, here’s a picture of the gorgeous dress I surrendered myself for…
